THANK YOU FOR VISITING US COTTAGE and CASTLE DESCRIPTION: VINTAGE ENGLISH HAND MADE MOUSE COUPLE MR & MRS WILLIAM WENSLEYDALE A Mr. and Mrs. mouse couple each measuring approximately 3 1/2" tall. These little mice were entirely hand made in England. They are from a series (KITTYBITS) in which all the mice are named for English cheeses. Most of the mice in the series are singles but this pair come as a couple. They are called "MR. AND MRS. WILLIAM WENSLEYDALE". These mice are from stock left over from a gift shop that closed many years ago. They are vintage but in new mint condition. They are 40 years old. They were only made for a few years and the entirely hand made versions have not been produced for many years. Mrs. Wensleydale is wearing a blue dress with red coat and lace apron. Mr. Wensleydale is wearing a color matched outfit consisting of a little blue vest with a red coat and a tan scarf. The detail and workmanship is outstanding on these cute little mice!
