Twilight Model 1/35 Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Food Carton Set D is a paper assembly kit. This is the fourth release following the assembly-type paper carton released as TM-08 1/35 Japan Ground Self-Defense Force Food Carton Set A, and it is a product that requires cutting out and assembling the box. For this Food Carton Set D, we selected one type from the Combat Ration Type II used since 2009, incorporating information from the latest specification of Combat Ration Type II that appeared at a disaster prevention exhibition in the Kanto region in early 2023. This carton differs in appearance from conventional cartons, featuring an OD color base with white lettering. Although it is not commonly seen at this time, it is expected to appear in many situations in the future. Additionally, we selected one relatively large size of combat ration from commercially available retort rations. Furthermore, as additional food, we included one type each of jelly drink, commercially available cup noodles, and chocolate snacks. The carton of mineral water, which is often seen in disaster training, is also an attractive addition. With the introduction of this Food Carton Set D, you will be able to enjoy new scene settings of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force along with the three existing food carton sets.
