Hasegawa 1/72 Air Self-Defense Force JASDF F-15J Eagle Model Kit C7 Japan F/S Description Condition: New Hasegawa 1/72 Air Self-Defense Force JASDF F-15J Eagle Model Kit C7 Japan F/S Product Description 1/72 scale plastic model. The F-15J Eagle is the main strike fighter of the Air Self-Defense Force. The Japanese Air Self-Defense Force is the third country in the world to equip the Eagle, following the U.S. Air Force and Israel. The Air Self-Defense Force, which had previously used the F-104J as its strike fighter, investigated the F-X as a successor to the F-104J. Among many candidate aircraft, the decision to adopt the F-15 was made on December 9, 1976, and the first aircraft arrived at Gifu Air Base on March 27, 1981. When first introduced, the Air Self-Defense Force's F-15J was basically the equivalent of the U.S. Air Force's F-15C Block 26, with some modifications unique to the JASDF. The main modifications were the addition of the JASDF's own automatic warning and control organization (badge system) and a high-speed data device (J/ASW-10 datalink system) that receives mission control from the E-2C early warning aircraft, and the change to a mass balance antenna on the tip of the vertical tail wing. The Air Self-Defense Force first deployed the F-15J to the Shintabara Air Base to train pilots, and then began full-scale deployment to the combat air wing. Like the U.S. Air Force, the F-15J is undergoing the Multi-Stage Improvement Program (MSIP), and each year, additional equipment is added to the F-15J. The F-15J is equipped with new antennas and other changes in appearance. In addition, an aircraft capable of carrying the domestically produced AAM-3 air-to-air missile is also undergoing modification. This high-tech fighter is now available as an assembled set. The fuselage has been designed with a high level of detail and texture. The cockpit is reproduced three-dimensionally. You can enjoy the “F-14A Tomcat” that radiates presence despite its 1/72 scale. This product is a plastic model that requires assembly and painting. Adhesives, tools, paints, etc. are required for assembly and painting.
