Description

These fun and colorful wall ruler growth charts are made of 5mm thick plywood that is painted and then engraved with numbers and inch markers. What makes this growth chart unique however are the interlocking "puzzle piece" connectors on each of the 4 pieces. This allows you to pick a single color or pick the multi-color option which highlights the puzzle piece design. Either way, the pieces fit together snugly and allows them to hold tight on the wall. The puzzle piece connections are pretty discreet on the solid color options and are very visible on the multicolor options. We make these in our home workshop and we use a CNC router to engrave all of the markings to ensure exact measurements and clean cuts. The inch marks and numbers are engraved approx. 1/16" deep into the wood and are not marked on like many of the other options available. I include 4 two part removable picture hanging hook and loop hangers so you can easily install on the wall without the risk of wall damage. We provide 4 so each piece can be securely fastened to the wall. We start the ruler at 6" above the floor to accommodate most baseboards. The measurement goes to the 6 foot mark. The width is 4 1/2" which is the width of a typical door frame. Each piece is between 16 1/2" and 19" depending on the piece. The overall weight is just over 1 pound which makes them safe in any child's room. The multi-piece shorter design with thinner wood allows for much more economical shipping options as well. The paint is standard interior latex house paint with no harsh chemicals to worry about. We put a lot of thought into these trying to provide an alternative to all of the folding thick wood or the cheap factory made options that are out there and wanted to include a fun whimsical difference.
